Reactivity Coaching & Dog Training Support

Building Calm, Confident Dogs Through Positive, Modern Training

I am currently training with The Dog Trainer School to become a fully qualified dog trainer. As part of my development, I offer friendly, supportive training at reduced fees, along with a free meet and greet so you can decide if I’m the right person to help you and your dog.

I have completed my Approved Reactivity Coach – Level 1, and I’m nearing the end of the Level 2 Reactivity Coach programme, giving me a deeper understanding of how to support reactive dogs using kind, effective methods.

Ethical, Positive Training Only

Everything I do follows The Dog Trainer School’s Code of Ethics, which places dogs’ welfare, emotional wellbeing, and safety at the heart of training.

I use positive reinforcement, reward-based methods only — no force, fear, intimidation, or aversive tools.
My aim is always to build trust, confidence, and real-life skills in a kind and ethical way.

What Is Scent Work?

Scent work is a rewarding, mentally stimulating activity that teaches dogs to use their natural sense of smell to locate specific scents. It is inspired by the work of professional detection and tracking dogs in areas such as:

Search and rescue

Wildlife and conservation detection

Medical alert and assistance work

Security and detection roles

For pet dogs, scent work is:

Excellent enrichment

Confidence building

Naturally calming

Great for focus and impulse control

Ideal for nervous or reactive dogs

It suits dogs of all ages, breeds, and abilities.

How I Support You and Your Dog

As part of my ongoing qualifications, I provide supportive coaching that is always force-free, ethical, and reward-based. My goal is to help you understand your dog’s behaviour and develop skills that strengthen your bond.

I can help with:

Reactivity (fear, frustration, barking, lunging)

Puppy and adolescent behaviour

Loose lead walking

Understanding canine body language

Enrichment and confidence building

Safe group play and social skills

Introductory scent work activities

Free Meet and Greet

I offer a free, no-obligation meet and greet where we can:

Discuss your dog’s needs

Talk through your goals

Explain how my training works

Make sure you feel comfortable moving forward

Reduced Fees Whilst I Learn

As I am still completing my professional qualifications, I kindly ask owners to be patient and understanding as I continue to grow in experience. My sessions are offered at reduced rates, reflecting that I am learning whilst still providing thoughtful, up-to-date support based on modern training principles.

Your willingness to work with a trainee helps me gain valuable hands-on experience, and in return, you receive personalised support at an affordable price.

My Training Approach

I believe in:

Kind, ethical, force-free training

Understanding each dog as an individual

Supporting emotional wellbeing

Clear, positive communication

Building strong, trusting relationships

My aim is to help both you and your dog feel confident and connected in everyday life.
